Expansion Valve

Expansion Valve Expansion vales:- Expansion Valve is device is used to make expansion of refrigerant and decrease the temperature of refrigerant. Expansion Valve are the one type of regulator through which refrigerant passes. At the bottom of expansion valve expansion adjustment nut is provided The position of adjustment nut may be changes as per valve design. If  we tightened that bolt high expansion will get us and temperature of refrigerant will highly decreased due to high expansion. If we loosed that nut low expansion will happens .When refrigerant pass through the valve, then pressure drop happens from high pressure to low pressure.Due to sudden Drop of pressure, temperature also decreases of the refrigerant. Types of Expansion valve Manual Operated Expansion valve:- These values were used for CO2 gas refrigeration installation where compressor started and stopped by watch-keeper.The compressor was started at expansion valve open position.Expansion valve then closed to bring up...

Mechanical Seal

Mechanical Seal Traditional stuffing boxes are primarily used to seal pump shafts and shafts with axial and rotational motion for various process pump fluids. Stuffing boxes have provided a rather impractical solution in the history of pump technology. Nowadays, stuffing boxes are being replaced by more technical solutions such as  mechanical seals.  Years ago, most pump shafts were sealed with soft packing rings  compressed by stuffing boxes. However, this type of shaft seal required a lot of liquid just to lubricate the packing and keep it cool.  The modern development of  the "mechanical seal" fulfills the role of preventing product leakage  around the pump shaft by two very flat surfaces, one fixed and one rotating. These mechanical seal surfaces also require some (very small) amount of lubricating or cooling fluid  to form  a hydrodynamic film, but this system usually evaporates and goes undetected. Most pump shafts  are now sealed wit...

Bearing number Identification

Bearing number Identification     We always call the different types of  bearing number, but actually what does mean it.For example 6001 2RS what does mean it,Lets see.    6001 2RS   Above shows the number of bearing,So lets see  (6)001  6 Number shows that the which type of bearing. 6 number for Deep Grove ball bearing. 6(0)01  0 This number shows the series of bearing which reflect the robustness of bearing. As inner and outer thickness usually increase along with the ball size. 0 Extra light 1 Extra light trust 2 Light 3 Medium 4 Heavy 9 Very thin section 60(01) The 3rd and 4th bearing number shows the bore size of the bearing.00 to 03 have designated bore size depending on the number. 00 10mm 01 12mm 02 15mm 03 17mm While the number more than 03 simply have a bore size multiplied with 5 times that of the 3rd and 4th digit. 6001 (2RS)   2RS Shows the rubber seal on both sides of bearing. Only RS shows rubber seal on one side of bearing ...
